JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Senior Advisor, Pension Fund to support the management and oversight of pension plans. This role is responsible for investment manager oversight, portfolio analytics, risk reporting, due diligence, pension governance, ESG reporting, and fund operations. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, investment managers, consultants, and service providers to support investment strategy, portfolio monitoring, compliance, and operational execution. This is a hands-on prospect for a self-starter who can quickly contribute, take initiative, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

3-5 years of experience with Pension funds

Asset management firms

Investment consulting

Private markets investment organizations

Fund-of-funds platforms

Strong understanding of public and private market investments

Experience evaluating investment manager performance





Capital calls and distributions

Commitment structures

Portfolio construction and asset allocation

Liquidity forecasting

Risk and performance analytics

Pension fund operations

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Ability to analyze complex data and develop executive-level presentations and reports

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Investment strategy, portfolio optimization, or asset liability management experience

ESG reporting and investment governance experience

Experience with investment manager onboarding, monitoring, and selection

Familiarity with investment agreements and fund documentation

Experience working with custodians, consultants, and institutional investment managers

Knowledge of regulatory reporting, audits, and compliance requirements

Familiarity with: iLevel Bloomberg NEXEN CFA, CAIA, or progress toward a professional investment designation

Institutional investment or pension fund background
