Become a vital part of the Métis Nation of Ontario as a full-time Métis Family Wellbeing Coordinator in Blind River. This role focuses on supporting families and preventing violence against Indigenous women through well-being programs.
MNO is looking for a dedicated individual to coordinate its Métis Family Wellbeing programs. This position requires a completed degree in social services and at least one year of experience working with children and clients. You'll engage in service delivery, plan community activities, and ensure adherence to confidentiality while fostering a supportive family setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver Métis Family Wellbeing programs effectively
• Assess client needs and determine appropriate actions
• Facilitate home visits and wellness planning
• Organize educational and community activities
• Maintain records in the Online Health and Access Tracking System
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in social services
• 1+ years in client service experience
• Knowledge of Indigenous programs and services
• Proficient in computer programs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
