The role: * Please Note - this is a 12-month contract role* The Manager, Sales Support / Originations Support is a senior operational leader within Meridian One Cap, responsible for the end-to-end execution, quality, and governance of sales and originations support activities. The role ensures that all transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with approved credit conditions, legal documentation standards, and regulatory requirements prior to funding. The incumbent is expected to possess deep expertise in equipment finance processes, legal documentation, and supporting systems, and to proactively drive operational excellence, customer and vendor experience, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of all Meridian One Cap’s sales and originations support activities, including application intake, documentation review, credit conditions, and funding readiness. Manage multiple concurrent priorities and workflows, ensuring tight deadlines, funding cut-offs, and service level commitments are consistently met. Own queue management, workload balancing, escalation handling, and issue resolution across all channels (vendor, direct, broker, and assignments). Develop, maintain, and continuously refine team capacity and resource models aligned to forecasted volumes, complexity, and service objectives. Use capacity, productivity, and demand data to proactively manage resources, rebalance workloads, and inform hiring, cross-training, and prioritization decisions. Ensure all transactions are accurate, complete, and fully compliant with approved credit conditions, legal requirements, and internal policies prior to funding. Maintain expert-level knowledge of equipment leasing and lending processes, lease and loan agreements, guarantees, amendments, assignments, and security documentation to provide clear operational direction. Act as the primary escalation point for Sales, Credit, Legal, Vendors, and Customers on documentation, processing, and funding exceptions. Enhance customer, vendor and broker experience through proactive communication, responsiveness and consultative problem solving aligned to One Cap’s service model.



Lead hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of the Sales Support team. Monitor quality, accuracy, productivity, SLA performance, and capacity utilization, taking corrective action as required. Special Projects Lead and support special projects and cross-functional initiatives to advance operational efficiency, scalability, and business growth. Drive process improvement initiatives across sales and originations support, focusing on cycle time reduction, quality enhancement, and risk mitigation. Identify, recommend, and implement automation and AI-enabled solutions, including workflow automation. Partner with Technology, Operations, Credit, and Sales to translate business requirements into system and process enhancements. Proactively identify operational pain points and propose solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Regulatory Compliance & FINTRAC AML Support Support compliance with FINTRAC AML/ATF requirements across all sales and originations activities. Test, implement, and maintain compliant operational procedures and controls related to KYC, documentation, and transaction execution. Monitor the effectiveness of AML-related procedures and support issue remediation as required. Act as a liaison between Operations, Compliance, Sales, and external stakeholders for AML-related operational matters, audits, and inquiries. Communicate AML requirements, expectations, and procedural changes clearly to frontline teams and business partners. Support deal triage, documentation review, and remediation of pending, deficient, or declined transactions. Ensure proper contract interpretation and documentation approval in collaboration with Credit and Legal teams. Maintain high documentation quality and governance standards consistent with equipment leasing industry best practices. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Expertise in equipment leasing and commercial finance operations. Strong multitasking capability with proven ability to perform under tight deadlines. Comprehensive knowledge of lease and loan documentation and funding requirements. Strong customer and vendor service orientation. Demonstrated ability to proactively drive process, system, and automation improvements. Solid understanding of AML/KYC requirements applicable to originations. Exceptional attention to detail, accountability, and decision-making. Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required; an equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant experience will be considered. Experience in equipment leasing, commercial finance, or lending operations, including senior-level sales support, originations, or documentation oversight roles. Strong working knowledge of FINTRAC AML/ATF requirements, KYC standards, and regulatory documentation controls applicable to originations and funding activities; experience supporting audits and regulatory inquiries is considered a strong asset. Proven people leadership experience, including team management, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management within an operational environment. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Comfort learning and adopting new digital tools,



with an openness to using AI‑enabled technology to enhance productivity, accuracy, and the Member experience. This role represents a new vacancy. Salary Range: CAD $ 79,100.00 to $118,700.00 annually Compensation for this role is based on a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Candidates with stronger alignment to the role’s requirements may be placed higher within the range. This is a hybrid opportunity.
