We're seeking a full time Community Outreach & Education Worker at St. Joseph's Health Centre, starting August 31, 2026. You will provide essential support to clients by offering counseling and creating community awareness to foster emotional balance in their daily lives. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical as you work in a diverse cultural setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate various community programs and services
• Provide counseling to clients for emotional and mental support
• Develop community awareness initiatives
• Work independently while collaborating with stakeholders
• Travel as required for community outreach efforts
Requirements:
• Indigenous Social Work Diploma required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Ability to navigate cross-cultural interactions
• Valid driver's license, where necessary
Engage with the community and support clients in their emotional wellness journey with SHA.
