Role Summary
As an Edward Jones Financial Advisor you will develop and grow your own client practice, supported by a client support team, a home‑office team, and regional advisors. Your work will involve establishing and maintaining long‑term relationships with clients, advising on a full range of financial products, and guiding clients toward their financial objectives with honesty and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with clients to understand and achieve their financial goals, including retirement, wealth building, estate strategies, and education planning.

Build and manage a personalized client base, including prospecting and client acquisition.

Provide comprehensive financial advice and planning services, coordinating with analysts and specialists as needed.

Maintain regulatory compliance through accurate record‑keeping, communications, and ongoing education.

Collaborate with the Client Support Team and regional leadership to streamline operations and deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications

Four years of financial industry work experience or a university degree/college diploma.





Financial services registration, licensing or certifications preferred.

Experience in sales, business development, client acquisition, and prospecting.

Ambition, self‑motivation and commitment to establishing long‑term client relationships.

Goal‑oriented mindset with critical thinking and analytical abilities.

Maturity needed to serve the investing public and robust communication skills.

Capacity to comply with regulatory requirements and maintain professional standards.

Compensation
Supplemental Starting Salary Range: $38,500 - $100,000. The compensation program includes trainee pay, a supplemental salary for up to four years, commissions, and bonuses for new assets acquired in the first five years.
