Contribute to patient care at Lennox and Addington County General Hospital as a part-time Personal Support Worker in the Emergency Department. Support healthcare teams, manage patient flow, and ensure timely care delivery.

This role as a Patient Flow Personal Support Worker (PSW) is essential to our multidisciplinary team. You will assist in transporting patients and specimens while working closely with nursing and lab personnel. Your ability to prioritize tasks and provide compassionate care will enhance patient experiences in a dynamic workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care to patients in the waiting room
• Porter patients to Diagnostic Imaging efficiently
• Transport specimens to the Lab promptly
• Function well in crisis situations
• Uphold patient-centered care principles

Requirements:
• Secondary School Graduation Diploma
• PSW Certificate from a recognized college
• Experience with complex patient needs
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role
