Grey Owl Center is seeking an experienced Carpenter for full-time seasonal work in Waskesiu Lake, located in Prince Albert National Park. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on construction, independence, and a lakefront national park setting. Accommodation is provided.
Work Overview:
Wood framing and structural carpentry
Interior finishing and trim work
Exterior finishing/detailing
Metal cladding installation
General residential construction tasks
Working independently on assigned projects
Keeping job sites clean, organized, and secure
What We Are Looking For:
Residential construction or general carpentry experience
Strong framing and finishing skills
Metal cladding experience is an asset
Ability to work independently
Valid driver's license
Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
Journeyman certification is welcome but not required. Practical experience is most important.
