Description

Your role as a stress engineer - Damage Tolerance will be to analyze the damage tolerance of primary structural elements (PSE).

TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

- Conduct damage tolerance analyses on primary structural elements (PSE)
- Provide recommendations on aircraft structural design and repair concepts
- Develop fatigue spectra
- Validate damage tolerance analyses against experimental results
- Support the development of the maintenance manual in collaboration with the technical publications and maintenance engineering groups
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with program methodology and technical requirements
- Review supplier reports and analyses

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in stress analysis of metal aircraft structures, with a specialization in fatigue and damage tolerance design (DTD)
- Proficiency in NASTRAN, PATRAN, NASGRO, CATIA V5, as well as the MS Office suite and Google Workspace
- Experience in an aircraft development program or in-service support, including certification activities is a plus
- Knowledge of non‑destructive testing (NDT) techniques is considered a plus
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and solid team spirit




- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and communicate in French and English
