About the Opportunity





HUB International is looking for a motivated and technically curious Student Programmer Analyst to join our Edmonton office for a four-month work term.

What You'll Do

- Learn and become the primary support resource for an existing internal business application.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance application functionality.
- Define and implement recent features based on business requirements.
- Analyze existing application logic and recommend improvements.
- Assist with modernizing legacy Excel VBA functionality by transitioning processes into newer technologies.
- Write, test, and document clean, efficient code.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, logic development, and troubleshooting.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand workflows and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in application testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
