Job Description : Our client is seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst – SCADA to join its Enterprise Networks team in Regina, SK!
Must Have Primary Skills :
Minimum five (5) years of recent, hands-on experience in network administration, analysis, and network design/architecture.
Demonstrated expertise with Spine-and-Leaf data center network architectures utilizing VXLAN with BGP EVPN.
Strong experience designing, implementing, configuring, and maintaining routing protocols, including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment, including enterprise switches and routers.
Strong proficiency with Cisco command-line environments, including IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS.
Comprehensive hands-on experience with Fortinet security technologies, including:
FortiManager
FortiAnalyzer
FortiNAC
Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft Azure networking resources, including:
Virtual Networks (VNets)
Virtual Network Peering
Route Tables
Azure Front Door
Web Application Firewall (WAF)
Network Security Groups (NSGs)
Must possess a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s Licence or equivalent.
Must be available to work full-time onsite in Regina, SK, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Must be able to travel outside Regina, including occasional overnight stays when required.
Must be available to participate in an on-call rotation in one-week intervals.
Must be available to attend an in-person interview.
Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).Experience configuring and managing load balancers and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).
Strong understanding and practical implementation of network security best practices.
Proven experience deploying network technologies as part of organizational technology projects.
Strong ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary technical and project teams.
Thorough understanding of enterprise-scale networks and the integration of on-premises infrastructure with cloud environments.Experience with LTE and satellite communication technologies.
Knowledge and practical experience with ITIL frameworks and Change Management processes.
Experience operating, supporting, or administering Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) networks.
Previous professional experience in North America, particularly within a provincial government, Crown corporation, Oil & Gas transmission organization, utility, or comparable enterprise workplace.
Proven Experience In : The ideal candidate is a senior-level Network Analyst with a strong combination of enterprise networking, SCADA/OT networking, Cisco, Fortinet, data center networking, and Azure cloud networking expertise. They should be comfortable supporting mission-critical network environments while contributing to architecture, security, infrastructure modernization, and technology implementation initiatives.
Responsibilities
Administer, implement, troubleshoot, and document the enterprise network to ensure itscontinuous and efficient operation, complete with thorough documentation.
Develop strategic plans for network device evolution,
aligning with both current and futurebusiness needs and industry benchmarks.
Provide expert-level technical support, administration, and engineering for all Client's network devices to guarantee their optimal performance.
Monitor and optimize network performance, swiftly troubleshoot and resolve any systemissues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Manage network disaster recovery processes, including meticulous planning,implementation, maintenance, and comprehensive testing.
Engage with corporate and field employees, promptly addressing technology concerns andescalating complex issues as needed.
Implement network equipment updates in accordance with established company protocolsto ensure ongoing security and functionality.
Maintain system integrity through effective change control, problem managementprocedures, and consistent communication with internal stakeholders.
Stay abreast of the latest networking technologies, certifications, and industrydevelopments to maintain a high level of expertise and adaptability.
Contribute to departmental goals by organizing and overseeing work processes andfostering effective teamwork.
Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures in the execution of roleresponsibilities.
Participate actively in team meetings, sharing insights and expertise to drive collectivesuccess.
Collaborate across diverse teams to develop scalable and adaptable network solutions.
Represent Digital Technology & Security with a commitment to the department's strategicgoals and objectives.
