About the Role
As a Red Seal Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent service.
Our shop supports a diverse range of work, including Nissan warranty repairs, customer-pay services, used vehicle reconditioning, fleet vehicles, and all makes and models. This provides our technicians with the opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles and continue developing their technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed diagnostics to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
Complete repairs and maintenance services according to Nissan and OEM standards.
Perform preventative maintenance, including inspections,
brake repairs, tire services, and system checks.
Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment and stay current with evolving automotive technology.
Ensure repairs meet manufacturer guidelines and maintain warranty compliance.
Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, inspections, and parts used.
Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate vehicle findings and recommended repairs.
Work closely with Parts, Service Advisors, and fellow Technicians to maintain efficient workflow.
Test drive vehicles when required to confirm repairs and evaluate performance.
Mentor apprentices and support a culture of continuous learning.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace while following all safety procedures.
Qualifications
Strong diagnostic and repair experience across various vehicle makes and models.
Experience using computerized diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Strong understanding of automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
Strong communication skills with both team members and customers.
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
