This position involves both landfill facility operations and heavy equipment operation, offering a dynamic work setting for experienced candidates. The ideal applicant will be comfortable switching between equipment operation and facility management, and will thrive in a safety-focused, compliance-driven setting.

What You’ll Need Proven experience operating dozers and loaders in a field or industrial setting
Mechanical background, with the confidence to inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment
Grade 12 education or equivalent
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and email)
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Willingness to work a 14/14 rotation and be available for on-call support
Strong commitment to safety and site compliance
Must be local to Fort McMurray, AB
What Will Make You Stand Out Experience in landfill, waste management, water management, or well operations
Previous facility operations experience in oil and gas or mining environments
Familiarity with environmental and regulatory compliance in a facility setting
H2S Alive and Standard First Aid certifications
