Become an Early Childhood Educator at YMCA Chetwynd Care and Learning Centre. This full-time position focuses on providing quality early education while fostering supportive environments for children and families.

As a permanent Early Childhood Educator, you will work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Your role involves delivering engaging activities based on the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum and building positive relationships with children and their families. Strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment are essential for this impactful position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide creative programming and quality care for children
• Build meaningful relationships with families and children
• Collaborate to maintain a supportive setting




• Deliver age-appropriate programs following YMCA standards
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in all areas

Requirements:
• Basic ECE certification recognized in British Columbia
• Preferred Special Needs Educator (SNE) certification
• Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
• CPR-C & AED certification required within 30 days
• Satisfactory references and Criminal Record check needed
