Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mid-Level Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and supporting overall accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Enter financial data into accounting software with accuracy
- Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment documentation
- Support month-end and year-end accounting activities
- Communicating with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding billing and payments




- Maintain organized filing systems and accounting documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications

- 2-5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
