Job Title: Operations Dispatcher

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 7:00pm

Location: Dieppe, NB

Position Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: $22.10/hr

We are searching for the next great dispatch and freight handler for one of our esteemed clients in Moncton/Dieppe area. This is a full-time position with great benefits. We are seeking a qualified individual to start as soon as possible.

Job Responsibilities:

- Answer any questions staff may have regarding deliveries or pick-ups.
- Transfer air and ground freight to our agents.
- Alert branches & CSR's about missorts, missing freight and freight on hand.
- Initiate and complete Dock Searches
- Assure drivers and agents comply with pickup and delivery requirements.
- Complete occasional p&d; if the need should arise.
- Cover off vacations and sick days on occasion.
- Monitor Proof of Deliveries for time sensitive deliveries.
- Work with the other branches and customer service to ensure our customers' needs are met.




- Daily end of day reports.
- Daily transfer to Cargojet YQM and after hour pick up coordination.
- Coordinate weekend specials and after hour deliveries as required.
- Deal directly with both existing customers and potential current customers service requirements

Qualifications andRequirements:

- Previous Dispatch experience
- Knowledge of MS Office and In-house software
- 2-3 years of current Driving experience
- Previous Hand-Held Scanner experience
- Valid Drivers License
- Be a min of 25 years old
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Clear Background check
