Job Title: Production Line Worker
Location: Sackville, NB
Wage: $19/hour
Shifts: Monday to Saturday (morning, afternoon, evening and night)
Shift times will range from 6am-2pm and 2pm to 10:30pm
Other shifts will also include starting times of 5:30pm and 10:30pm
Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Workers to join our client's food production team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, are eager to learn, and have some previous familiarity in warehouse or production settings. This is a temporary opportunity for immediate start through the first week of December, with the potential for permanent employment. Candidates must have versatile availability to accommodate assigned shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Sorte, packaged, and crate finished products.
- Build cardboard totes for product packaging.
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards were met.
- Cleare minor machine blockages during production.
- Record production data, including quantities and product details.
- Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning.
- Use cleaning chemicals and sanitizers safely.
- Follow GMP, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized production environment.
- Reported equipment issues and maintenance concerns to supervisors.
Requirement/Qualifications:
- Must have own vehicle or a very reliable means of transportation
- Steel toe safety boots required- all other PPEs will be provided by the company
- Ability to work morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and rotating shifts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to product quality, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and operating production or sanitation equipment.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to safely use production equipment, cleaning chemicals, and sanitation tools.
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, sanitation, or food processing is an asset but not required.
