Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and dependable Bilingual Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service in both English and French while supporting pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and assist patients in English and French, in person and over the phone.
- Receive, enter, and process prescription information accurately.
- Prepare, label, package, and organize prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Process insurance claims and resolve third-party billing inquiries.
- Maintain patient records while ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
- Manage inventory, stock shelves, monitor medication expiry dates,



and place supply orders.
- Coordinate prescription refills and communicate with healthcare providers as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties to support the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous pharmacy assistant experience preferred.
- Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is required.
- Experience with pharmacy software (e.g., Kroll) is an asset.
- Robust computer, communication, and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
