The Advanced Care Paramedic reports to the Health Services Manager and works under the guidance of the Clinical Leader. Responsibilities include delivering patient care, participating in ongoing career development, and maintaining current registrational standards with the Nova Scotia Regulator of Paramedicine. You will also contribute to departmental efficiency and mentor colleagues and students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care within your paramedic scope of practice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members




• Engage in ongoing professional development programs
• Mentor colleagues and act as a preceptor for students
• Ensure NSRoP registration is valid and current

Requirements:
• Grade XII education required
• Registered with NSRoP and BLS (HCP) Certified
• One year of experience as an Advanced Care Paramedic preferred
• Effective communication and patient assessment skills
• Experience in emergency care or hospital settings preferred
