The Kamloops Aboriginal Friendship Society (KAFS) is seeking a CRCL Coordinator to oversee daily operations in its new program. In this pivotal position, you will manage communication flow, mentor staff, and ensure quality service delivery for individuals facing mental health challenges. This role emphasizes cultural safety, holistic care, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate shift operations and team communication during service hours
• Provide mentorship and guidance to crisis responders
• Support emotional well-being of responders and ensure client-centered service
• Review documentation for accuracy and program compliance
• Foster collaborative relationships with community partners and emergency personnel
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• 4+ years in mental health or crisis response
• Solid crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
• Experience in mentoring and staff training
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
