WHAT YOU'LL HELP BUILD WITH US
You will actively contribute to a variety of projects, from preliminary design through construction support, working closely with architects, architectural technicians, and other professionals involved. You will take ownership of technical assignments with increasing autonomy while benefiting from the guidance of experienced colleagues. Your attention to detail, thoroughness, and desire to develop your expertise will contribute directly to the quality and success of our projects.
WHAT SUMUS OFFERS
- A salary between $70,000 and $85,000, based on your experience
- 3 weeks of vacation per year
- 5 paid personal/sick days per year
- 3 additional paid days off during the holiday season

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
- A diploma in Architectural Technology or an equivalent field
- At least 10 years of experience in the industry
- Strong proficiency with industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid knowledge of building codes, regulations, and building envelope systems
- The ability to manage multiple projects, priorities,
and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong coordination and communication skills that allow you to work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to mentor and support junior team members
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality technical documentation
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Produce and update technical drawings, construction documents, and construction details in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and established project guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of plans and specifications throughout the various technical phases of projects.
- Collaborate with architects and senior architectural technicians to identify appropriate solutions to technical challenges.
- Participate in coordinating the various professionals involved in projects, including engineers, consultants, and contractors.
- Take part in coordination meetings, document required follow-ups, and help maintain explicit communication among stakeholders.
- Conduct technical and regulatory research to support project development.
- Contribute to schedule tracking and construction cost estimating, as required by the projects.
