This world-class facility receives pressurized liquid propane via rail, transfers it to intermediate storage, chills it, and loads it onto Very Large Gas Carriers for export to Asia and other global markets.Job DescriptionReporting to the Lead Operator and taking day-to-day direction from the Operator Tech 3, this role is responsible for safely managing the day-to-day operations related to offloading LPG railcars and supporting terminal activities. This position is part of the International Longshore & Warehouse Union (ILWU), Local 523B, and is embedded within the Prince Rupert community.You Will:Safely manage day-to-day terminal operations, particularly the offloading of LPG railcarsEnsure the safety of personnel, contractors, and customers at all timesAdhere to all AltaGas policies, standards, procedures, and practicesIdentify and mitigate risks; consult with senior personnel when requiredParticipate as an active member of the Emergency Response Team, including fire/spill responseReport and investigate safety incidentsPerform railcar inspections to confirm mechanical integrity prior to transferSample railcar contents and record chromatograph readings and operating conditions (pressure, temperature, levels)Execute railcar unloading procedures and confirm completionComplete all required documentation related to offloading activitiesConduct track inspections and railcar inspectionsPerform minor facility maintenance and general housekeeping dutiesSupport senior operators and assist with additional plant activities as neededYou Have:High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2+ years of experience as a railcar loader/offloaderRailcar Safety & Securement certificationTrack Inspection Level II certificationProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,
