Join Thousand Islands Veterinary Services as a veterinary extern focused on small and exotic animals. Immerse yourself in a caring, educational workplace that emphasizes teamwork. This externship program invites veterinary students across all class years to develop essential clinical skills.

Over a two to eight-week period, externs will collaborate with a supervising veterinarian to gather patient histories, perform exams, and create treatment strategies. You'll also assist with surgeries, provide dentistry, and enhance communication with both the medical team and clients. Key Responsibilities:
