About This Opportunity Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Manager of Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality products by overseeing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
Oversee product inspections to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues.
Maintain documentation related to quality standards and processes.
Investigate quality deviations and implement corrective actions.
Train employees on quality control procedures and safety protocols.
Participate in audits and inspections by regulatory agencies or customers.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
Analyze quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field required (e.g., Quality Management, Food Science). 3+ years experience in quality assurance and quality control, preferably in a manufacturing workplace. 3+ years managing and leading teams Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
