We are looking for an experienced Sr.

Accountant to join a team in Ontario in a contract opportunity with permanent potential.

This role is suited to someone who can oversee day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of properties while producing accurate month-end deliverables and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with property management stakeholders and use solid Excel skills to support organized, reliable reporting.

Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end accounting activities for a group of roughly 10 to 15 condominium and commercial properties, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and on time.

Manage receivables, prepare supporting schedules, and coordinate month-end close tasks to maintain complete and balanced financial records.

Compile and assess monthly financial packages for assigned properties, with attention to accuracy,



presentation, and reporting deadlines.

Partner with property managers to address financial questions, review results, and support the accounting needs of each property.

Prepare reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger balances to support accurate financial statements.

Record journal entries and maintain accounting documentation that supports period-end reporting and audit readiness.

Create, organize, and format accounting reports in Excel to improve clarity and usability for internal stakeholders.

Use property accounting systems such as Yardi or Yardi Breeze to process financial information and support reporting activities.
