Overview Fundy Veterinarians Ltd is a mixed animal practice that has been serving clients in central Nova Scotia for over 50 years. The practice employs six large animal and five small animal veterinarians across two locations, providing students with exposure to a wide range of clinical experiences.

Responsibilities - Gather patient histories.

- Perform physical examinations.
- Create treatment plans.
- Conduct diagnostics.
- Provide dentistry services.
- Observe, assist, or perform surgical procedures.
- Manage patient medical care.
- Communicate effectively with the medical team, support staff, and clients. Duration and Eligibility Externship experiences typically last between two and eight weeks, depending on student and hospital schedules. The program is designed for 3rd and 4th year veterinary students.

Stipend

Students in the clinical portion of their education are eligible for a travel and living expense stipend.
