Overview Our client,a leading product innovation firm, focused on the strategy, design, and development of cutting-edge apps, is hiringan Project Managerbased in downtown Toronto, working in a hybrid mode 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
Role Summary The Project Manager responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time in line with expectations.
This role oversees all aspects of projects, by setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities while monitoring and summarizing the progress of the project.
This role also prepares reports for upper management regarding the status of projects.
Responsibilities Objectives of this Role: Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and Project Reporting Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and allocation of additional resources to fulfill client needs Establish Operating Profit Margin Goal by producing Burn Reports actual vs budgeted for each project and documenting overhead expenses Operational Responsibilities: Collating Resource information & Setting up New Project Group (Teams, Slack, etc) Set up Budget in Project Tracking Tool Creating a breakdown of the project schedule Finalize Project Plan and Track Project Timelines Monitor Project Progress Budget check on every sprint Prepare monthly Burn reports for T&M; clients and TAL invoicing Track client and engineering team signoffs Plan Sprint retrospective meeting Evaluate project performance Produce and verify Clients Billing Reports based on Burn Reports Seek Source release approval from Account Manager Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques Report and escalate to management as needed Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders Perform risk management to minimize potential risks Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members Use and continually develop leadership skills Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency Perform other related duties as assigned Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs Other duties, as assigned Leadership: Provide constructive support, advice, and project rollout updates during meetings Create a positive atmosphere by demonstrating a Growth Mindset and Lead company values by example Have a proactive solutions-oriented approach to issues that may arise Take accountability of organizations results and future results Dedication to constant ongoing learning and continuous improvement of self and departmental processes Demonstrate strategic thinking Required Qualifications Master''s Degree in Engineering/Business Administration/Finance Years of Experience 3+ years in operations management, program management, project management in IT, SaaS or similar business Competencies Problem Solver People Management Accountability Detail oriented Ownership Mindset Great communicator Proactive strategic thinker.
