Pay: CA$18.00 - CA$20.00 per hour Job description: The Roma Fence Group of Companies is a long established company operating in the construction & manufacturing industry.

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to assist the Companys accounting and finance team.

The role involves broad responsibilities of performing various accounting and administrative functions, including accounts payable and limited accounts receivable. SHIFT: MONDAY-FRIDAY 8:30AM-3:30PM OR 9:00AM-4:00PM Major Duties & Responsibilities: Review and process accounts payable invoices, expense reports, and credits accurately and on time.

Prepare and process payments.

Record and process daily cash receipts.

Complete daily bank deposits and other banking activities as needed.

Reconcile cash receipts on a daily basis and follow up on any discrepancies.

Respond to accounts payable questions from vendors and internal teams.

Provide day-to-day accounting support to the Senior Accountant and Controller.

Prepare accounting reports as needed.

Help with collections when required,



including following up on outstanding accounts and sending customer statements.

Keep accounting and financial records accurate, organized, and up to date.

Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications Accounting-based diploma or certificate with solid knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping 1 - 3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload Must have a team oriented work approach with the ability to work independently Robust aptitude for accuracy and detail-oriented Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook The Roma Fence Group of Companies is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in our workplace.
