Production Project Coordinator Mass Timber Fraser Valley, BC | $60,000$70,000 | Office/Shop Based Match
Box Consulting Group is seeking a Production Project Coordinator for a highly respected design-build and manufacturing organization specializing in innovative mass timber structures.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career construction professional interested in project coordination, digital fabrication and production delivery.
The position is based primarily in the companys Fraser Valley office and manufacturing facility , with limited to no site travel.
The Role Working closely with Project Managers, engineering, drafting, procurement, production, quality and shipping teams, you will help coordinate mass timber projects from award through design, fabrication, shipment and closeout.
This is not a field-based position.
Your focus will be keeping project information, materials, approvals, production schedules and logistics organized and moving forward.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate projects through design, procurement, production, shipment and closeout Review drawings, specifications, contracts and customer requirements Coordinate information between clients, consultants and internal project teams Prepare, issue and track RFIs, approvals and project communications Complete material takeoffs and maintain accurate project records Support RFQs, purchase orders and supplier delivery tracking Coordinate drawing approvals, material availability and production releases Track schedules, procurement items, fabrication progress, risks and shipment dates Maintain drawings, correspondence, procurement documents and change records Coordinate shipping documentation, delivery sequencing and carrier requirements Support change orders, cost tracking, progress billing and schedules of values Identify design conflicts,
missing information and production risks early Provide clear project updates to Project Managers and management Participate in rare site visits when required for specific coordination needs What You Bring Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering, Architectural Technology or a related field New graduates from relevant programs are encouraged to apply Construction, manufacturing, timber, drafting or project coordination experience is an asset Basic understanding of construction drawings, specifications and project documentation Ability to complete material takeoffs and maintain detailed records Solid organization, planning and time-management skills Clear written and verbal communication Confidence coordinating with internal teams, suppliers and clients Comfort working in an office and manufacturing environment Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and PDF-markup software Experience with RFIs, procurement, scheduling, logistics or document control is an asset Why Consider This Opportunity?
