Job Summary:

The Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist is responsible for leading and executing comprehensive testing strategies for large-scale systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments. This role involves developing and implementing test plans, scripts, and cases, performing various types of testing such as functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing. The specialist collaborates closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure software quality and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:

- Advise on testing strategies, test plans, tool selection, and resource identification.
- Plan and organize testing efforts for large systems, including systems integration and user acceptance testing.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, performance, stress, and load testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla, and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Micro Focus UFT, Selenium, TestComplete, or Postman.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results, coverage, and quality metrics.
- Provide input for user manuals and release notes.
- Ensure testing processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Certifications:




- 8+ years of experience as a Software QA Tester.
- Experience testing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications, specifically Oracle Siebel CRM.
- Robust knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Proficiency with defect tracking tools like JIRA and Azure DevOps.
- Experience creating and documenting test cases, test execution plans, and test strategies.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Ability to write and understand SQL queries and perform backend testing.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Understanding of quality assurance principles, practices, and structured methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Siebel Test Automation and Adobe AEM testing.
- Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Cypress, Postman, QMetry, TestRail, Zephyr.
- Knowledge of object-oriented testing methods and information management principles.
- Experience with case management systems and public sector CRM modules.
- Programming knowledge in at least one language.
- Experience in security testing and collaboration with security specialists.
- Experience developing and managing test data strategies ensuring data privacy.

Special Considerations:
- Position requires onsite presence at the designated office location.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive timelines.

Scheduling:
- Work 7.25 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
- Standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding lunch breaks.
