Role and Responsibilities Candidates should possess a diploma in Environmental Sciences.
They should have a valuable understanding of electronics related to air monitoring such as Teledyne analyzers, and have a thorough understanding of the air quality regulations in both BC and Alberta.
Candidates are expected to: Maintain air monitoring equipment to manufacturers specifications Ensure Downwind Air Monitoring units are functioning correctly, and ready for deployment.
Understand generated data, and be able to write reports associated with that data.
Research/Develop equipment associated to the business.
Work with a team of technicians to ensure projects are being completed efficiently.
Work directly on revenue generating jobs, as well as in the shop working on equipment.
Be able to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical persons.
Skills and Traits: Leadership Communication both verbal and written Attention to detail Understanding of technical documents Customer oriented This is a safety sensitive position and the candidate must complete and clear a pre-employment drug test.
