Explore your skills in welding with CB&I; as an Associate Welding Engineering Technician. This role focuses on quality assurance and control for various projects across Canada and the US. In this position, the Associate Welding Engineering Technician will support the oversight of Welding/Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities.
You will assist in the development of project deliverables including quality plans and weld procedures, while collaborating with field personnel and various departments. Effective communication and a proactive approach are crucial to success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing Weld/QA/QC activities on-site
- Develop welding project deliverables and documents
- Maintain welding tools and equipment
- Support field personnel with QA/QC activities
- Communicate effectively with team members and departments Requirements:
- 0-2 years of welding experience preferred
- Diploma in Welding Engineering Technology
- Robust verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of various welding processes
