Office Office/Site only Company Siemens Energy Canada Limited Organization Gas Services Business Unit Distributed Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Professional / Experienced A Snapshot of Your Day Works as an integral part of a shop floor engine support team, anticipating work and coordinating Repair and New Build requirements including resolving snags.

Responsible for coordinating and the review of deviating/non-conforming material.

Carries out independent investigations/troubleshooting and sentences ZR non-conforming reports.

Ensures that the necessary tooling is provided and maintained to meet program requirements.

Creates methods and sequential planning documents.

How Youll Make an Impact Prepares or assists in the preparation of methods & scheme planning documents for the purpose of modification, repairing, testing, stripping, building, inspecting and conforming engines and their components.

Assist in managing incoming deviating materials for review.

Verify deviations and non-conforming materials, and determine appropriate dispositions such as scrap, rework, or forwarding to the relevant engineer for review, in accordance with company policies.

Plan and prepare instructions for rework in accordance with the approved procedures provided by the relevant engineering or OEM authorities.

Participate in scrap reviews to help identify opportunities for salvage of components.





Participate in investigation and development work with Siemens Energy, or jointly with subcontractors or suppliers, to demonstrate and justify the suitability of proposed repairs.

Preparing repair instructions for approval in accordance with the Siemens Energy Quality Control procedures.

Prepare and issue repair and/or new build instructions, including shop floor computer routings.

Raise Tooling Service Requests (TSR) for new tooling and tooling upgrades.

Coordinate requests for design and manufacturing with third party and assist in the tooling design reviews.

Coordinate tooling functional tests and hand over to Operations.

Support improvement projects and any other related duties as assigned.

What You Bring CEGEP or equivalent in a related technical field or operator experience in technical field related to gas turbine engine repair and overhaul and New Build.

Practical knowledge of Gaz Turbine and Repair & Overhaul.

Strong organizational skills and technical writing capabilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with SAP functions for production, inspection, and task planning.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain good interpersonal relationships.

Logical thinking and planning capabilities.

Ability to read, speak, write, understand, and verbally express ideas and instructions in French. A basic understanding of English is complimentary to read engineering reports, specifications, component drawings, and assembly drawings.
