Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting Construction Various locations Tasks Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems Install exterior and interior steel studs Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools Support for youths Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work setting for youth Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
