About the Position: Reporting to the Corporate Controller - Rentals, the Senior Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the preparation of analysis and reporting of financial information, along with assisting with reconciliations, and dealing with regulatory and compliance matters.

quarterly and annual financial packages with supporting documentation for Executives Assist with the preparation of various financial reports to meet the compliance requirements of our lenders and other federal or provincial regulatory bodies Other projects and duties within the finance department as assigned Qualifications: Post-secondary diploma, degree, or certificate in accounting, business, finance, or a related field Professional Accounting Designation would be considered an asset Minimum five (5) years of accounting experience in a medium to large organization required Experience in property management and working knowledge of Yardi Voyageur is required Experience with financial analysis and budgets required Ability to identify areas of improvement within financial practices to create standardized policies and procedures required Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel experience required Must express initiative, good judgment and foster a positive work atmosphere.
