Our Client is seeking an experienced Network Data Specialist 6-Month Contract Ready to work on enterprise-scale network transformations? We''re looking for a hands-on Network Data Specialist III to join a high-performing infrastructure team supporting critical enterprise networking initiatives.
This is an opportunity to step into a role where you''ll make an immediate impactworking on major data centre migrations, next-generation firewall deployments, and complex network projects in a large enterprise environment.

Advantages This isn''t a maintenance-only roleyou''ll be driving some of the organization''s most important infrastructure initiatives, including: Lead and support a large-scale data centre migration Migrate approximately 500 firewalls from Cisco to Fortinet, including translating, validating, and implementing firewall configurations Execute enterprise network changes while ensuring business continuity Support complex LAN/WAN environments and provide Tier 2 & Tier 3 troubleshooting Implement approved security-related network changes in partnership with the Information Security team Maintain automation scripts and improve operational efficiency using Python and Ansible Monitor enterprise network health, capacity, and performance Participate in architecture discussions, project planning, and infrastructure modernization initiatives Responsibilities Install, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure Execute complex network changes and upgrades Troubleshoot critical production issues across enterprise environments Collaborate with infrastructure, security,
and project teams Translate business and technical requirements into network configurations Maintain accurate technical documentation Provide technical leadership and mentorship on complex networking issues Ensure network performance, stability, and security across the environment Work Environment Hybrid schedule with 2-3 days per week onsite in Mississauga Thursday is the team''s anchor day Company-provided laptop and mobile phone Occasional evening or weekend work during planned maintenance windows for major infrastructure changes No regular on-call rotation Qualifications What We''re Looking For We''re seeking someone who can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up.
The ideal candidate has broad infrastructure experience and enjoys wearing multiple hatsnot someone who has only worked in a narrowly focused enterprise networking role.
Must-Have Experience 8+ years of enterprise networking experience Strong hands-on experience with: Cisco routing and switching Fortinet firewalls Enterprise LAN/WAN environments Network troubleshooting and incident resolution Infrastructure and network migration projects Experience developing or maintaining Python scripts Experience using Ansible for network automation Robust understanding of routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, wireless networking, and enterprise security Nice to Have AWS or Azure networking experience VMware experience F5 or Citrix Net
Scaler Cisco Wireless Controllers and 802.1X authentication Experience with enterprise monitoring platforms such as Stat
Seeker Qualifications University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline CCNP or CCIE certification preferred Excellent troubleshooting, communication,
