We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to do full-cycle accounting activities along with overseeing a small team, for a commercial property management company here in Edmonton.

This position plays a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting audit readiness, and maintaining strong accounting controls across day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on property accounting expertise and a strong understanding of reconciliations, budgeting, and period-end processes.

Responsibilities: Oversee complete accounting operations for commercial property accounts, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and on schedule.

Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and transparent variance analysis.





Coordinate year-end audit preparation by organizing documentation, responding to auditor requests, and resolving outstanding items efficiently.

Perform and review account reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions when needed.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities by compiling financial data and monitoring performance against plan.

Manage payroll-related accounting tasks and ensure associated entries, balances, and records are maintained correctly.

Produce consolidated financial information for multiple entities or properties as required for internal and external reporting.

Review accounting outputs and internal processes to strengthen compliance, consistency, and financial accuracy.
