LOCATION AND ABOUT NHH ROLE OVERVIEW Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging and accountable to the Chief of Diagnostic Imaging (Radiation Protection Officer), the Medical Radiation Technologist will be responsible for performing mammography exams as a member of the breast imaging team.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Current membership in the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) Previous recent related EPIC experience a definite asset Previous recent related GE Universal Viewer PACS experience a definite asset Completion of or equivalent preferred Previous mammography experience preferred Maximum of 3 modality assignments for each general duty technologist, one of which must be radiography PHYSICAL EFFORT AND WORKING CONDITIONS Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Sound critical thinking abilities EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Successful applicants are required provide a satisfactory vulnerable sector criminal reference check, that was complete less than one year from the date of hire.
This requirement must be met within the first sixty (60) days of employment.
Additionally, to the above, successful applicants are also required to complete the Health Care Worker Health review process which includes providing an up-to-date immunization record to ensure compliance with the Ontario Hospital Association Communicable Diseases Surveillance Protocols within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
