Job Summary:
The Testing and Quality Assurance Analyst will play a critical role in supporting Digital Health's mission to transform healthcare delivery through advanced information and communication technology. This position involves ensuring the quality and reliability of healthcare information systems by executing thorough testing and quality assurance processes within a clinical and provincial health sector setting. Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and manage test cases and test objectives for healthcare information systems.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of clinical applications, including the Altera Sunrise suite focusing on registration and clinical documentation functionalities.
- Validate integration and interoperability between systems using Health Level 7 (HL7) standards, ensuring accurate message mapping and processing.
- Test and support implementation of BDM pharmacy solutions at the provincial level.
- Perform testing and quality assurance for Emergency Department Information Systems (EDIS) in urgent and emergency care settings.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure healthcare IT solutions meet clinical and operational requirements.
- Document testing results and provide feedback for continuous improvement of healthcare technology systems.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a quality assurance analyst in project environments.
- At least 10 years of experience testing healthcare information systems in clinical environments.
- Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) testing the Altera Sunrise clinical application suite.
- At least 5 years of experience testing integration using HL7 standards.
- PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification (proof required).
- Valid ProSci (ADKAR) Change Management Certification (proof required).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience implementing BDM pharmacy solutions at a provincial level (minimum 2 years).
- Experience implementing or testing Emergency Department Information Systems (EDIS) in urgent or emergency care environments (minimum 3 years).
Special Considerations:
- Work is performed onsite in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
- Additional hours may be requested, not exceeding 10% above the standard daily hours, based on project requirements.
Scheduling:
- Full-time position with a standard workday of 7.75 hours on Central Time.
- Project duration from September 14, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with an option term from April 1, 2027, to July 31, 2027.
- Total of 961 hours over approximately 124 business days.
