Job Title: Telecom Civil / Drafting Engineer (Bilingual - French)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Telecom Civil / Drafting Engineer to support the design and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in telecom civil and structural drafting, construction documentation, and telecom site design, with strong knowledge of 5G infrastructure, rooftop installations, tower modifications, and foundation detailing. Professional Engineering eligibility with the Ordre des ing nieurs du Qu bec (OIQ) and French language proficiency are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and maintain technical drawings for telecommunications infrastructure projects.

Prepare telecom construction drawings, installation packages, and engineering documentation for field implementation.

Produce detailed site plans, construction layouts, schematics, and installation drawings.

Prepare drafting packages for:

5G Network Upgrades

Rooftop Installations

Telecom Tower Modifications

Greenfield & Rooftop Sites

Develop structural detailing drawings, including:

Foundation Details

Tower Reinforcement

Civil & Structural Components

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, designers, and field teams to ensure project requirements are met.

Review drawings for technical accuracy, constructability, completeness, and compliance with engineering standards and client specifications.

Maintain drawing revisions, document control, engineering records, and project documentation.

Support quality assurance and quality control activities by validating design inputs, markups, revisions, and final deliverables.

Ensure compliance with applicable Canadian engineering standards,



safety regulations, and telecommunications construction practices.

Required Skills & Experience

6 8 years of experience in:

Telecom Civil Drafting

Structural Drafting

Telecom Infrastructure Engineering

Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility/registration with the Ordre des ing nieurs du Qu bec (OIQ) is mandatory.

Fluent in French (written and spoken); English communication skills are an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting wireless telecommunications projects, including LTE and 5G deployments.

Knowledge of Canadian telecom engineering standards and construction practices.

Experience working with telecom carriers, infrastructure vendors, or engineering consulting firms.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and document control experience.

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
