Maintenance Technician - General Maintenance

Gorham Real Estate/Fredericton Rentals Ltd./Premiere Suites Fredericton is currently seeking talented individuals interested in a Maintenance Technician - General Maintenance position with our well-established and quick-growing company.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician - General Maintenance Specialist is expected to have a general understanding and wide range of experience in general building and apartment maintenance. The General Maintenance Technician will be assigned work orders to troubleshoot or complete based on ability.

Duties/Responsibilities but not limited to:

- Pest control
- Doorknob / lock repair / door closures etc.
- Window / screen repair
- Appliance general repair
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Minor Electrical repairs
- Carpentry
- Complete general maintenance work orders as required skill level permits
- Signing off work orders as soon as they are completed
- Assist other employees with miscellaneous tasks when required

Requirements Include:





- Clean criminal record check provided prior to commencing work
- Valid driver’s License and personal Vehicle available for use during working hours
- Ability to work last and 1st day of each month
- Ability to work late, weekends and evenings
- Ability to participate in maintenance on call rotation with the flexibility to handle emergency on call response when required
- Participate in weekday and weekend snow shoveling (with assigned route)
- Personal Cell phone with data (cell phone credit will be provided monthly)

- General Maintenance knowledge
- Ability to follow instructions as directed
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
