Duties

- Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials onto pipes and mechanical systems following blueprints and project specifications
- Use hand tools such as knives, saws, and measuring tapes to accurately install insulation components
- Apply caulking or sealants to ensure insulation is airtight and secure
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine insulation requirements and installation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety protocols
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring proper fit and insulation integrity




- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly

Qualifications

- Proven construction experience with a focus on insulation installation or related trades
- Skilled in using hand tools and measuring devices with precision
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and sealing methods for insulation applications
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately
- Strong physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and work in various positions throughout the day
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Prior experience with blueprint reading is highly desirable; training will be provided for those eager to learn
