Job Description – Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Worker

Main Purpose of this role:

Maintain a neat and clean sales floor and warehouse, arrange merchandise in a visually appealing manner and provide customers with a winning shopping experience. You should also be able to provide friendly customer service and be prepared to perform any additional duties, such as counter sales, should the need arise.

Main Duties:

1. Receiving inbound shipments from couriers. Preparing outgoing shipments

2. Preparing merchandise for purchase by entering items into store inventory and applying bin labels/sales tags.

3. Weekly checks of the showroom to ensure product displays are intact and shelves are neatly laid out/stocked

4. Assembling product displays and arranging merchandise in Aptico Supply Showrooms

5. Receiving inbound Transfers

6. Receiving recent merchandise and applying barcodes to product

7.



Keeping track of Wire cuts and what is on hand

8. Repackaging of items into smaller box qty’s (ex. Boxes of 10 TA’s, etc)

9. Picking of sales orders as needed

10.Maintaining an organized and clean warehouse

11.Maintaining an organized and clean showroom

12.Providing outstanding customer experiences

13.Promoting a positive store culture

14.Process and Coordinate Warranty claims

Person Specification:

· Previous experience in retail, inventory or merchandising beneficial

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt

· Computer literate

· Customer Focused

Responsible To: Branch Manager

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
