Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Wheel Loader Operator to join our dynamic Quarry team. Duties

- Operate wheel loaders with precision to load materials such as Armour stone onto trucks or into designated areas
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety standards are met
- Assist with the setup and breakdown
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate the safe and productive movement of materials across the site
- Utilize additional heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, and horizontal drills when required for specific tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to maintain a secure working environment
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities

Qualifications





- Proven experience operating wheel loaders in a construction environment with a strong understanding of loader operation techniques
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including Caterpillar machinery and other brands such as excavators, graders, dozers, and backhoes
- Demonstrated ability to operate related machinery such as graders, excavators, bulldozers (dozers), loaders, and horizontal drilling equipment
- Valid driver’s license is required for transporting equipment and materials at the quarry
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and perform basic maintenance tasks independently
