About the role:
Our client is building an exciting current AI-powered product and is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join as one of the foundational technical contributors.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment where you'll have significant ownership over product development, architecture decisions, and technical direction.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded engineer who enjoys wearing multiple hats, can work independently, and has experience building and scaling production applications from the ground up.

You'll play a key role in developing AI-enabled applications, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and platform capabilities while collaborating within a small, highly agile engineering team.

What you'll do:
• Build and scale AI-powered products, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Own architecture, infrastructure, and deployment practices.
• Develop AI workflows, integrations, and automation solutions.
• Drive platform reliability, performance, and technical innovation.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable business solutions.

Skills and Requirements
• 8+ years of experience within software engineering, or full stack development, building production-grade applications
• Experience building AI/LLM-enabled applications
• Experience building AI assistants, copilots, conversational interfaces, or AI-powered applications leveraging LLMs.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and modern AI integration patterns
• Hands-on experience architecting and deploying cloud-native applications
• Strong understanding of system design, reliability, observability, and performance optimization
• Proven ability to independently own and deliver complex technical initiatives end-to-end
• Experience working in smaller engineering teams where engineers contribute across multiple disciplines
• Strong DevOps mindset and infrastructure ownership experience
Previous experience in startup, scale-up, or high-growth environments Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with FastAPI
• Experience with React and Python
• Technical leadership or mentoring experience
• GCP experience
