Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer holding a designation from APEGA (The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta) to join our innovative engineering team. In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components for diverse projects. Your expertise will drive the development of cutting-edge solutions, ensuring they meet rigorous standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities

- Prepare proposal drawings for customers.
- Design and produce drawings for fabrication.
- Conduct mechanical analysis using Inventor simulations or equivalent tools to validate design integrity under operational conditions.
- Interface with Customers, Sales and Production.
- Be able to perform Engineering Calculations to verify designs.
- Be the main contact between the company and various agencies, such as APEGA, Transport Canada, Intertek, etc.
- Maintain records for all designs and drawings.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop schematics, technical specifications, and system layouts aligned with project requirements.
- Support manufacturing processes by providing technical guidance on mechanical components, materials selection, and fabrication techniques.
- A valid designation from APEGA with current registration status.
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering design, analysis,



or related fields within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machining, and automation systems integration.
- Solid understanding of mechanical principles, schematics interpretation, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

REQUIRMENTS

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a P. Eng. designation from APEGA or a well advanced E.I.T. close the become a P.Eng.
- Experience in fabrication and assembly techniques.
- Autodesk Inventor or equivalent CAD skills.
- PC based computer skills, particularly with Excel and other Office systems.
- Able to program or modify programs for P.LC.s.
- Successful candidate will have to pass medical and drug testing.
- Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
