Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Asphalt Roller Operators to join our construction team. This role involves operating heavy-duty asphalt rollers to ensure the proper compaction and smoothness of paving projects. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in heavy equipment operation, construction, and roadwork, with a focus on quality and safety. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing to infrastructure development and roadway improvements.

Responsibilities

- Operate asphalt rollers and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to compact asphalt surfaces.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Assist with site preparation, including grading and leveling surfaces prior to paving.
- Coordinate with crew members to ensure timely completion of paving tasks.
- Follow project specifications and safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment usage.




- Support related activities such as loading materials, concrete forming, or excavation as needed.

Requirements

- Proven experience operating asphalt rollers and heavy construction equipment such as loaders, excavators, or compactors.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Construction experience with a focus on paving, concrete forming, or roadwork projects preferred.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to safety procedures and regulations.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads when necessary.
- Prior experience with concrete finishing or related tasks is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
