Iceavik Nordic Wellness Spa is preparing to open Newfoundland & Labrador’s first Nordic wellness destination. Iceavik will offer a unique and luxurious experience that combines advanced wellness treatments with elements of Nordic tradition and design. We are seeking passionate, skilled, and guest-focused Estheticians to join our founding team and deliver exceptional skincare and wellness experiences in a premium Nordic spa environment.

As an Esthetician at Iceavik, you'll provide luxurious, results-driven treatments while creating meaningful guest experiences that promote relaxation, confidence, and overall well-being. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the service culture of a world-class wellness destination from day one.

Key Responsibilities

-Deliver exceptional esthetic services including facials, body treatments, and other spa services within your certification and scope of practice

-Conduct thorough client consultations and recommend treatments based on individual skin concerns and wellness goals

-Educate guests on home skincare routines and recommend professional retail products

-Maintain treatment rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation

-Ensure all equipment and treatment areas meet health and safety standards

-Maintain accurate and confidential client treatment records

-Build lasting guest relationships through exceptional service and personalized care

-Collaborate with the Spa Manager and Guest Experience team to create memorable guest experiences

-Participate in ongoing product knowledge and professional development training

-Support the pre-opening launch and ongoing growth of the spa

Qualifications & Experience

-Diploma or certification in Esthetics from a recognized institution

-Previous experience in a spa, wellness, resort, or hospitality environment is considered an asset

-Experience performing facials, body treatments, waxing,



and other professional esthetic services

-Strong knowledge of skincare products, treatment protocols, and sanitation practices

-Excellent communication, client service, and interpersonal skills

-Passion for wellness, skincare, and delivering exceptional guest experiences

-Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
