Fountainhead Mechanical is growing, and we're looking for an experienced HVAC Service Supervisor to lead and support our HVAC service team in Calgary.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an accomplished HVAC and refrigeration professional with advanced knowledge and practical experience in commercial refrigeration diagnostics, troubleshooting, service, and repair. You'll lead technicians, provide guidance on complex service calls, and help our service department deliver consistently excellent work.

You'll have the opportunity to influence team culture, strengthen service operations, and play an important role in Fountainhead Mechanical's continued growth.

Most importantly, this position has no traditional on-call rotation, giving you a predictable schedule while advancing your HVAC leadership career.

What You'll Do

- Supervise and support daily HVAC and refrigeration service operations
- Provide advanced technical guidance on HVAC and refrigeration diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
- Assist technicians with complex refrigeration troubleshooting and jobsite challenges
- Diagnose and support repairs involving refrigeration systems, components, controls, and electrical circuits
- Review service quality, documentation, and job completion standards
- Coordinate with dispatch, office staff, technicians, and management
- Help plan labour, equipment, materials, and technician assignments
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive coaching
- Promote excellent communication and customer service
- Ensure work complies with safety requirements, applicable codes, and company procedures
- Support preventative maintenance and service agreement programs
- Participate in technician recruitment, onboarding, and training
- Represent Fountainhead Mechanical professionally on customer sites

Who We're Looking For

- Alberta Journeyperson certification as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic, or an equivalent recognized trade qualification
- Advanced knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with refrigeration diagnostics, troubleshooting, service, and repair
- Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, compressors, controls, electrical components, and refrigerant circuits
- Ability to accurately diagnose complex refrigeration and HVAC equipment issues
- Strong knowledge of HVAC service, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair
- Previous HVAC supervisory, foreperson, lead technician,



or service leadership experience
- Proven ability to coach and support HVAC and refrigeration technicians
- Strong technical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Clear, professional communication and customer-service abilities
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver's licence and a clean, insurable driving record

A Gasfitter Class A or Gasfitter Class B certification is considered an asset.

Experience diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, or repairing commercial and industrial chiller systems is also considered a strong asset.
