CNC Laser Cutting and Manufacturing Technician

About the Role
GMC Plexiglass is hiring an experienced CNC Laser Cutting and Manufacturing Technician to operate our CO2 laser systems and manage acrylic fabrication workflows. This is a hands-on technical role with responsibility for equipment operation, file preparation, quality control, and supervising junior staff.

What You'll Do

- Operate and program laser cutting machines (Ruijie RJ-1325 CO2 laser)
- Prepare and optimize digital cutting files using RDWorks/LightBurn
- Monitor production quality and reduce material waste
- Train and supervise junior operators
- Maintain production logs and quality records

What We're Looking For

- 3–5 years of hands-on laser cutting machine operation
- Proficiency with laser software (RDWorks, LightBurn, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of material properties (acrylic,



wood, plastic)
- Ability to read technical drawings and CAD files
- Industrial/technical secondary education or high-school diploma + experience
- English or French proficiency
