We are currently looking to expand our team with labourers who will be required to perform tasks involving physical labour at residential and commercial construction projects and will be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment in the construction work site. This position available is full-time 5 days a week with occasional work on Saturdays as workload or weather dictates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Help siding installers when necessary
- Ability to measure and properly layout various type of cladding using string lines, measuring tapes, and other required tools
- Operation of manual and power operated site working tools to be able to cut, bend, drill
- Follow instructions from supervisors
- Load and unload trucks, trailers and containers with supplies and equipment
- Perform site clean-up
- Understanding and Ability to follow OH&S; guidelines, company & site-specific safety policies and procedures

SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

- Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
- Good communication, problem solving,



and organizational skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations for working at heights
- Knowledgeable in OSHA requirements
- Ability to climb up and down ladders

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Walk on uneven terrain
- Comfortable with climbing ladders and working on heights
- Move and carry construction materials and supplies that may weigh in excess of 30 kg
- Hazards associated with the trade
- Work outdoors in various elements

Own Tools/Equipment

- PPE
- Pouch with basic hand tools

Experience:

- construction: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence:

- Class 5
- Fall Protection Certificate
